Mightier | Software Engineer | Hybrid (Boston) | Full-time

Mightier is a video game platform that helps kids mental health. Over a dozen clinical studies show efficacy on par with therapy and medication. http://mightier.com

Currently we're engaging with the healthcare system. Health insurance and Medicaid help make Mightier accessible to all kids who could benefit.

We're looking for help making it all work!

What a fearless and clever way to engage video games!

They acknowledge that this was a freak opportunity that has already come and gone.

Oh neat. Do you have an asset store link? I couldn't find it in search.

Hey trellos! We don't currently have an asset store linking, but you can download the package directly from our GitHub repo: https://github.com/Regression-Games/RGUnityBots

My only complaint is why this took so long.

Mightier (http://mightier.com) | Video Game Developer | Boston, MA | Full Time | Hybrid or Remote

Mightier is a video game platform that uses biofeedback to help kids' mental health. Our intervention is clinically validated, with efficacy on par or greater than current treatments (https://www.mightier.com/science/). Currently we are integrating with the healthcare system to provide access via normal healthcare channels (https://www.marketplace.org/shows/marketplace-tech/in-one-st...).

It only works if kids use it! We are hiring a software engineer to help our game team. Our software is built in C# using the Unity game engine. We pay close attention to our kids to stay close to who we are making this for. We pay close attention to our parents and clinicians to keep it grounded in the real world. Our ideal candidate has shipped at least one title.

The official posting, with information on how to apply, is on our careers page: https://www.mightier.com/careers/

Very excited to hear from anyone interested.

Not looking to apply, but having tried this out some years ago, I really love the approach. Using indie games to get kids to handle their emotions is great.

Love this. I'll be reaching out. :)

Mightier | Hybrid in Boston, Massachusetts | Software Engineer

At Mightier we make video games that help kids' mental health. Over a decade of clinical research shows that for some people, Mightier's bioresponsive games can have efficacy on par with medication or therapy. Mightier is starting to be covered by Medicaid, increasing access to families across the country. Does this sound interesting? Join us!

We are looking for a software engineer who's made mobile games. A day could include:

o Writing C# code in Unity to implement a new feature.

o Working with the QA team to diagnose a tricky issue.

o Joining the design team to playtest a new prototype in a room of kids.

Here's more information, including how to apply:

What kind of YoE are you looking for? I know a new grad who would be a good fit.

We're pretty flexible, however they should have shipped at least one game.

You and me, both!

I'm curious, why a raptor?

Either:

a) Raptors are the cleverest of animals, with an uncanny ability to understand relativity. b) I am obsessed with Jurassic Park and couldn't pass up a good pun.

So, you know. One of those two.
