This completely dismisses every developer out here writing drivers, hardware controllers, Operating Systems, compilers, etc. Look around as you drive to work. See the boxes along the road? See the automatic doors on the buildings? See the lights? There’s an entire world of software engineering out there that’s not some CRUD web app.
