    NeWS was architecturally similar to what is now called AJAX, except that NeWS:
    - used PostScript code instead of JavaScript for programming.
    - used PostScript graphics instead of DHTML/CSS for rendering.
    - used PostScript data instead of XML/JSON for data representation.
